Are you prepared for an emergency? Power outages can last for days, making everyday tasks difficult and frustrating for your entire household. A reliable backup power source, such as a generator or power station, can keep essential devices running. Stocking up on non-perishable food, bottled water, and extra pet supplies ensures your family and pets remain safe.
Working from home requires a backup internet solution to stay connected during extended outages and keep up with work responsibilities. Battery-operated lanterns and flashlights provide much-needed light when the power is out for long periods. Keeping extra blankets and warm clothing available is essential for staying comfortable during winter outages. Planning and having the right supplies can make a stressful situation much more manageable.
Generator – Firman Tri-fuel Generator Please do your research on what generator best fits your needs. I went with this generator because it had the option to power it by gas, propane, or natural gas. It was easy for me and my 21-year-old son to pick it up and get it running. To find what size generator you should get, use a Generator calculator to help you. Also know that if you have gas heat, you will need an electrician to get a converter installed to be able to use it. I purchased a great kerosene heater in the meantime.
